That starts with understanding what’s safe, what’s not, and how to ease in with confidence.

Is Cold Exposure Safe?

We want cold immersion to be empowering not risky. That starts with understanding what’s safe, what’s not, and how to ease in with confidence.

Who Should Avoid It?

Everyone is different, however cold exposure isn’t recommended for people who:

  • Are pregnant
  • Have cardiovascular conditions
  • Experience seizures or fainting
  • Are under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Have any medical concerns that could be affected by cold shock

Not sure? Speak to your GP first.

Start Smart

  • Begin with 30 seconds
  • Build up gradually & at your own pace
  • Breathe slowly and focus on exhaling
  • Have someone nearby
  • Always plunge in a safe, stable space, never rivers, lakes or ice unless trained
